We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to provide accounting support to our busy office. The role will be versatile with exposure to the all-round finance function. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling bank reconciliations;
- Ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner;
- Reconciliation of supplier statements, taking responsibility for resolution of all issues;
- Payment run processing;
- Verifying and setting up suppliers in line with company policy;
- Journal preparation and posting;
- Assisting the senior management team as needed.
What you’ll need to be succesful:
- ‘A’ Level Accounts at a minimum, ideally looking to study further;
- A minimum of one year experience in a similar role;
- Strong communication skills in both Maltese & English;
- Excellent Excel and IT skills;
- Positive and enthusiastic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A good understanding of accounting processes and business requirements.
