Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to provide accounting support to our busy office. The role will be versatile with exposure to the all-round finance function. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling bank reconciliations;
  • Ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner;
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements, taking responsibility for resolution of all issues;
  • Payment run processing;
  • Verifying and setting up suppliers in line with company policy;
  • Journal preparation and posting;
  • Assisting the senior management team as needed.

What you’ll need to be succesful:

  • ‘A’ Level Accounts at a minimum, ideally looking to study further;
  • A minimum of one year experience in a similar role;
  • Strong communication skills in both Maltese & English;
  • Excellent Excel and IT skills;
  • Positive and enthusiastic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A good understanding of accounting processes and business requirements.
