As the Finance & Payroll Coordinator you will be responsible for the monthly payroll of 100 employees as well as supporting the Management Accountant with the month end process.
As the Finance & Payroll Coordinator you will be responsible for the following:
- Updating information and inputting data in excel sheets in preparation for payroll calculation;
- Monitoring time and attendance sheets including comparison with rosters;
- Calculating payroll on a monthly basis;;
- Issuing of payslips and FS3’s;
- Assisting staff members with any payroll queries.
Accounting:
- Assisting the Management Accountant with Month End reporting & tasks such as:
- Preparing and posting journals;
- Preparing Accruals & Prepayments schedules;
- Reconciling month end balances in relation to payroll accounts;
- Other adhoc duties including analysis of payroll and other costs as necessary.
To be considered for this Finance & Payroll Coordinator role you must have the following:
- Achieved at least 3 ACCA modules with the intention of furthering your studies;
- Possess at least 2 years’ experience in a similiar role;
- Strong written & verbal communication skills in both Maltese & English;
- Knowledgable with Maltese Employment Law;
- Proficient with MS Office applications and Accounting systems.
