Finance & Payroll Coordinator

As the Finance & Payroll Coordinator you will be responsible for the monthly payroll of 100 employees as well as supporting the Management Accountant with the month end process.

As the Finance & Payroll Coordinator you will be responsible for the following:

  • Updating information and inputting data in excel sheets in preparation for payroll calculation;
  • Monitoring time and attendance sheets including comparison with rosters;
  • Calculating payroll on a monthly basis;;
  • Issuing of payslips and FS3’s;
  • Assisting staff members with any payroll queries.

Accounting:

  • Assisting the Management Accountant with Month End reporting & tasks such as:
  • Preparing and posting journals;
  • Preparing Accruals & Prepayments schedules;
  • Reconciling month end balances in relation to payroll accounts;
  • Other adhoc duties including analysis of payroll and other costs as necessary.

To be considered for this Finance & Payroll Coordinator role you must have the following:

  • Achieved at least 3 ACCA modules with the intention of furthering your studies;
  • Possess at least 2 years’ experience in a similiar role;
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills in both Maltese & English;
  • Knowledgable with Maltese Employment Law;
  • Proficient with MS Office applications and Accounting systems.
